Since everyone was so nice about the photo of the goodie table from my Doctor Who shindig, here’s another photo of the Adipose Marshmallows. I used a food coloring pen to draw the face and royal icing to make everything stick together.
Here are “fish” fingers and custard. The “fish” fingers are actually shortbread that I dipped in white chocolate and then rolled in graham cracker crumbs. It’s a variation on a recipe that you can find on-line. I couldn’t get the graham crackers to stick with the original recipe, so I figured graham cracker crumbs would stick to melted chocolate. It looked weird with dark chocolate, but okay with white chocolate. Oh, the joys of trial and error. The custard is real. I made it with Bird’s Custard Powder.
